I wanted to make a dark circus series. I worked with Annabel Carousel to create this character. I wanted to make it fun and playful and then slowly turn darker. This can be seen in the photos as well as the video. The video is set up like a jack-in-a-box, at first the clown is inviting and playful but then when the top burst the true character and darkness comes through. I wanted to be able to capture both fun and happy photos as well as dark and creepy images. This awesome shoot draws you in to see what you have found but when you come close, you're trapped. Will you escape
