I have always had a desire to travel since I was very young. I have always wanted to see the world with my own eyes and tell incredible stories about it. I began traveling when I was 15 and helped at a clinic in Africa with my mom. The next year I went and help with a camp and wedding ministry with a group in Haiti. And following that year was my first trip to Poland. Before purchasing my ticket I had never thought Poland was a place I really wanted to visit. But it quickly turned into a place that I love with all my heart. I have traveled to Poland for the last 4 years to help with American English Camps. At these camps, I got to meet amazing leaders and awesome students who have impacted my life more than words can say. I have also grown so much each year as I began teaching classes and helping with color teams.
And my vocabulary grew quickly too but mówię trochę po polsku.
Part of my heart will always be in Poland with some of my best friends and a beautiful country I love! I have had some incredible opportunities during my time in Poland. From traveling deep beneath the earth in the Krakow Salt Mine to the cliffs of Tintagel England, where we took our camp in 2018. There were also sobering moments too, like visiting Auschwitz and saying goodbye.
I miss you all and I'm very sad to announce that because of COVID-19 I won't be able to attend camp this year. But I plan to come back as soon as possible!
Myślę o Tobie! Tęsknię za Tobą! Mam nadzieję że wkrótce się zobaczymy!
